About Me
The most exciting part of working with precious metals and gemstones for me is being able to bring your ideas to life and create bespoke jewellery that is unique and meaningful to you.
I believe that jewellery is a piece of our personality and therefore should be individual to each of us.
Working from my home with views of the stunning Brecon Beacons, I specialise in making quality, bespoke, personalised and ‘one of a kind’ jewellery to help you tell the story of the precious moments in your life.
I live with my husband and our very demanding cat Mr Coops, if you follow me on Facebook, or Instagram, you may well see some of his antics – he loves a box and also the bath – I’ll say no more!
I’ve been interested in jewellery for as long as I can remember – I used to make my own as a teenager out of Fimo, safety pins, buttons and anything else I could find!
I am inspired by the beauty and textures of nature, especially pebbles, whether they are from the rivers I used to play in as a child or the beaches I now visit as an adult, I cannot leave without a shell or a pebble in my pocket which ends up in my inspiration pot, perhaps you can relate to this?
My designs are often very organic, I like to allow them to develop at the bench and enjoy using different techniques to create ‘one of a kind’ pieces of jewellery. I use precious metals and precious gemstones as well as semi-precious stones and beads to harness their healing properties into your jewellery and can personalise your pieces with words, dates or letters.
So, if you would like to commission your own special piece of quality, handmade, bespoke jewellery, (for yourself or as a gift) please contact me to discuss your ideas, I’ll look forward to chatting with you,
Laura
